YouFon provides users with an original YouFon number and password and users can connect by registering this number to the terminal. Simply switching mobile telephone calls to the free YouFon call service wherever necessary can significantly reduce the currently expensive nature of mobile telephone costs. You can use both pay telephone services and our free of charge telephone network separately.

Features and Sound Quality
You can connect with various telephones shown below, but there is a big difference in terms of convenience and sound quality. We will introduce each terminal in order of decreasing telephone sound quality.

(1) IP phones
A special fixed type of IP phone. Initially made only for VoIP, it has a wide variety of functions with high sound quality. On the other hand, it is designed to be set up on a desk, which may be inconvenient. IP telephones are mainly sold for office use.

(2) Commercially-produced fixed-line phones with ATA
Telephones connected by a box type IP connection device called ATA (Analog Telephone Adopter). Provides very good sound quality, and can be used as both a normal phone and an Internet phone. In terms of handling, we recommend the cordless phones.

(3) Commercially-produced cordless phones with ATA

ATA can be conveniently connected to the cordless phone base, which can be used for both normal and Internet calling. With the base and cordless handset, you can carry the handset around with you. Also provides very good sound quality. With the hands free feature, you can talk while playing games or doing housework.

(4) Wi Fi IP phones
Cell-phone type IP phones that can connect to a Wi Fi LAN access point. The batteries need to be replaced often, but are conveniently carried at home and to the office. Most provide good sound quality. We may see improved products in the future.

(5) Personal computers with Softphone
Not actually a phone, but a hard drive, and provides the cheapest telephone service. On the other hand, it is not convenient for handling, and you need to keep the computer's power on 24 hours a day if you wish to use it as a telephone. Provides good sound quality when using USB phones, etc.

(6) WindowsMobile PDA
Basically a PDA, so it is not designed to be either a telephone or VoIP telephone. Does not provide good sound quality and delay and echo may occur, but can be used for short conversations. Normally, the CPU clock is 400 MHz at the minimum level, and we recommend a CPU clock with more than 500 MHz.

(7) WindowsMobile cell phones

A portable cell phone that is easy to take anywhere. However the hardware does not correspond to VoIP even if VoIP software is installed resulting in poor sound quality and the occurrence of delay and echo. The CPU clock is 400 MHz at the minimum level.
