Using
Windows Mobile Smartphone or Windows Mobile PDA
With a Windows Mobile terminal, YouFon can be used very easily. [YouFon
Free] is downloaded onto your computer from the YouFon Website and
installed onto WM Smartphone or WM PDA using ActiveSync. Next, after
you input the information into the YouFon registration form, you will
receive a YouFon telephone number and YouFon password to the e-mail
address provided in the registration form. Now we will explain the YouFon
telephone number and YouFon password, assuming you have already received
the password. After that, you start [YouFon Free] and
only input Your YouFon telephone number and YouFon password on the settings
screen. Then, you can call other YouFon users free of charge. However,
VoIP functionality is not provided by the hardware in existing WM terminals,
frequently resulting in audio delays and cuts, and limiting its practicality.
Use of dedicated IP phones or IP phones with built-in Wi-Fi capability
is recommended.
